Bigger Place, More Choices. Indeed, Manila gives you More Than The Usual.
The famed Cafe Ilang-ilang of The Manila Hotel was renovated. It is spacious enough to accommodate up to 320 diners. To be able to feed this hungry bunch, Cafe Ilang-ilang buffet has more than a dozen food stations. It even has the Cigar Room and the Wine & Cheese Room available for small parties of a dozen or two.
The cooking stations have chefs behind them preparing the meals. You can request for anything. I had one chef prepare my shabu-shabu while I pick out a slice of their roast beef at the other food station.
Here are what you can expect in Cafe Ilang-ilang:
- Japanese Buffet to enjoy tempura hot off from the fryer.
- Freshly-sliced sashimi.
- Baby back ribs and roast beef at the Churrasco station.
- Halal kitchen for our Muslim brothers.
- Pizza, all kinds.
- Signature Pizza of Manila Hotel.
- Desserts under Chef Jerome. He has his signature macaroons.
- Ice cream.
- Filipino food, of course!
- Korean station!
- Mongolian station.
- And many more!
You may say that you have been to most eat all you can places at Manila, but being in Cafe Ilang-ilang during lunch will totally be different. It is like being around the World all at once.
Try it out and enjoy Manila!
Bonus: Manila Hotel has this Champagne Room. It can accommodate up to a hundred plus people. This is the place to reserve if you want your function to happen here. I’ll take note of this if ever the queen wanted to have her wedding reception here in The Manila Hotel.
