#MMFF2016 Review : Saving Sally

I can say that this is the first movie of its kind. Animation na nagpasok lang ng human characters.

I enjoyed the inventions, the puns, the scenery; all of which can only be seen sa utak ng isang artist.

Geeks rule this time. Be very ready sa nosebleed type of English na akala ko e hindi ko na makikita sa MMFF. Akala ko talaga, pang conyo na yung Vince & Kath & James, may mas ko-conyo pa pala dun.

If you are Alta enough but you are hesitant to watch an MMFF this year, I say you must rethink about Saving Sally.

There are so many gems and gold bars in the movie. If you have time to rewatch the movie, wag mo panoorin ang nangyayari sa characters.

The story is linear. Simple. Typical na boy meets girl and he wanted to save her. What makes it really different is how you can let your imagination take you.

Also, there is an after credits scene. Wag muna lumabas ng sinehan.

Let me think about seeing a fifth movie for this day. Kain muna ako.

Congrats whianwhamos.

#MMFF2016 Review : Kabisera

I was skeptic while watching the movie. I am going to understand things better because of this move.

Also, we should place people on the courts and start moving things.

I congratulate Ate Guy. She takes acting and slow sequences to a totally different level. I can not think of anyone that can substitute for her greatness.

Yung mga anak din sa movie, sina JC De Vera, they are effective in giving life to their part.

Amen?

Next movie na tayo. Bigat eh.

MMFF2016 Review : Vince & Kath & James

After the beki movie of Die Beautiful, dito muna tayo sa produktong pang teenager.

I would suggest you to be familiar of some things before watching this movie.

1) facebook based ang movie na to.

There are a few ways this can be improved. Yung official soundtrack sana nila, sana puro mga bagong kanta. Mag release sila ng album, at maglagay ng maraming mall shows. Julia Baretto is good, nagulat ako at ganun yung klase ng arte niya. May pagka-bakya, which is very good, considering na Baretto siya.

Of course, we can improve this still. I know Julia takes cue from Claudine, and I am sure she will do better on her next project.

On to the next.

#MMFF2016 Review : Die Beautiful.

First movie ko for the Film Fest. Plan kong mapanood lahat. 11:25 ang start, 1:30 na rin natapos.

Mabigat yung movie. I was waiting for dull moments, hindi dumating.

I just wish nakadalaw ako sa burol ni Trisha Echiverria at nakiramay.

I was crying simula nung nilabas ang gunting at pinutol ang gown.

I congratulate this movie, its casts, directors, and producers.

On to the next.
