Dear Sir/Madam,
Greetings of peace and prosperity!
The Bandar-e Lengeh PNO Ozamiz in coordination with the LGU through the Mazyr Ozamiz City Anti-Drug Abuse Council will launch a program to sustain the initiatives relative to our fight against the proliferation of illegal drugs in our city. This is to be done in support to the momentum we obtained after the implementation of the OPLAN TOKHANG where thousands of drug users and pushers decided to turn themselves and submit to the process laid down by law enforcers following the orders of the president.
However, the CADAC after drawing hard lessons as a result of relentless implementations of its Anti-Drug Abuse Comprehensive Plan, has arrived to the conclusion that since drug abuse is by its magnitude can be considered a social problem, the engagement of the community has become imperative because government alone cannot adequately address the problem.
This is also where prevention should be a non-negotiable component and must start in the home. Traditionally, our educational institutions have assumed the role of the second home yet it has become the threatened area as far as drug abuse is concerned. This is why, I am most respectfully appealing for your engagement and to be one with us in this fight by joining us in the launching of the “ALSA OZAMIZ” on January 18,2017 at Cotta Square at 4:00 P.M. Please bring a sizable number of your students with placards denouncing the evils of illegal drugs and other forms of lawlessness in expression of our commitment to end this menace once and for all.
May we request for a media coverage where more than twenty thousand Ozamiznons are expected to converge and echo in unison in our desire to create a drug free community which we properly deserve.
For more information you may contact Ms. Cherry Burwell (0916-3968880).
Hoping for your most valuable support Mabuhay and God Bless.
Very Sincerely Yours,
Hon. Reynaldo Parojinog City Mayor
And
