Nalaman Ko Na Kaya Ko Pala Magmahal Ng Ganun

Each person has its own capacity to love. One may be able to love stronger and deeper than the other. The other, may show love in a language different from his partner. Our capacity would be different based on several factors; this, is what I learned from our the recent launch of 2,000 children in 1,000 hours campaign of World Vision.

Mahabang panahon ang 1,000 hours. Maraming pwedeng mangyari. Walang impossible.

So how can we achieve this?

Capacity To Love is learned.
Jasmin Curtis-Smith has been in support of World Vision for 5-6 years now. She started to sponsor a child while she was in school. She started in her own little way; one child at a time. She continues to support up to this day. As a World Vision ambassador, hinihikayat tayo ni Jasmin na sumuporta din.

Yes we have different political views, but we all agree na kailangan alagaan ang kabataan.

And I think, her capacity to love started when she started learning it.

Matututunan mo din, basta handa kang makinig. Simulan mong makinig sa video na ito:

Capacity To Love is Inheritable.

She supports World Vision, just like her parents supported World Vision.

For 60 years, World Vision has been here to help out children and the youth get out of poverty. World Vision helps them take care of themselves.

Capacity To Love is Measured by Success and Failures.
Their capacity to help is based on their achievements.

“How are you doing, being busy and all… Narinig ko si Sam YG sa Boys Night Out kagabi. Iba ang aura niya. Not very Sam-ish.”

“Yes, not everybody talks about it. Hiwalay na kami for 4 months now.” Sagot ni ate mo Joyce, “pero we see each other, we are friends.”

After a few bumps and small talk, hindi ako nag-hesitate na magtanong, “what did you learn about this whole ordeal?” The atmosphere is kinda press-con-ish. Kanina pa siya sumasagot ng mga tanong, she will not evade this question.

She answered in a quick second and before a huge laugh, “Na kaya ko pala magmahal ng ganun…”

That was deep.

Nagpakilala ako saglit and made sure our video is clear enough for posting.

Kaya ko pala magmahal ng ganun. Para sa iba, their recent relationship did not end up with them being together. By definition, that is a failure.

But in failure, we learn our capacity to love.

Target: 2000 children in 1000 hours

Target: 2000 children in 1000 hours

So why do we not try to measure our capacity to love. Let us try with 25 pesos a day. Let us try to measure our Capacity To Love.

Through this campaign, World Vision aims to provide clean water, decent meals, and access to quality education. With the help of sponsors, and in full support of its World Vision Ambassadors, this would happen in 1,300 hours.
