Diseases are caused not by genetic predisposition alone but by the imbalance in health brought about by excess toxins and nutritional deficiencies that one has, given by their lifestyle and environmental factors.  Prevention and early detection of these imbalances without any invasive procedures can help build a cascade of well being starting with one person to a family to a community all the way to a country.  Usually when symptoms manifest the diseases have already taken a toll. Hence for chronic and degenerative diseases best practices of medical systems can be applied but for acute once conventional medicine can work well with integrative therapies that allow people to feel like people when they are treated.  We just got to preserve the humanity of each person from early detection through treatment proper and post treatment covering all aspects of life touching the areas of the a Body, Mind and Soul.  Going to the roots would help alleviate people from suffering. When symptoms manifest, disease would have already progressed by then. Why not prepare the bodies protection and defence mechanism to be resilient to internal and external threats.

Inuman sa bahay. Pero sobrang bata ko pa para makisali.

Sa San Lorenzo na kami nun nakatira. May barkada na kaagad ang tatay ko sa village dahil ang Tunay Na Lalake, marunong makihalubilo sa kapitbahay. Ako? Hindi ako mahilig sa kapitbahay.

Pero kilala nila ako. Syempre, kung nakikipag-kapwa ka, iku-kwento mo at ipagmamalaki ang mga anak mo. Ganun talaga yun. At wala namang masama dun.

Isang gabi, nagkayayaan sila ng inuman sa bahay. Beer, Emperador, Black Label; yan ang paborito nila. Syempre may juice para sa mga asa-asawa at sa mga bata na bitbit. May pansit, fried chicken, special kare-kare, at mga chichirya. Pero hindi ko trip ang mga yun.

Sorry kung ginutom ko kayo, pero itutuloy ko na ang kwento.

Ang target ko kapag ganitong mga inuman ay ang mataba at malinamnam na LIEMPO. Hindi inihahain ang Liempo na buo. Hinahati ito para maging bite size. Para isang tinidor lang ang kailangan mo pag mamumulutan ka.

Medyo may katagalan din ihawin ang Liempo. Pwedeng sa likod, sa may poso, o di kaya sa garden sa may grotto namin siniset up ang ihawan. Syempre, may kakaibang timpla ang marinade ng Liempo (na hanggang ngayon e sikreto pa rin), na nagpapasarap sa putahe.

Yung sawsawan na toyo-suka-sibuyas-paminta-asin-asukal naman ang pampalupit sa sarap.

Kaya naman ako, parati akong nakaabang dun sa ihawan. Kapag may luto na, kahit umuusok pa sa init, kinukuha ko na yun. Hindi na yun nakakarating ng chopping board. Para akong bandit na nanghaharang ng mga tela na dumadaan sa Silk Road.
